Some models are special. They inspire the artist to create better work than usual. Two of my favorites are no longer available. Senalka now has a day job. My lifedrawing studios are in the morning. Alex moved away. Dang. They are both African-American, with such a sense of dignity and grace. I miss drawing them.
One of my favorite models was Anthony. He died, over a year ago now. He, too, carried himself with dignity and grace. He died too soon.
